Economist · Microeconomic Theory
Nidhi Jain
I study how information, media, and incentives shape political and market outcomes.
About
I am an economist working in microeconomic theory, political economy, and information economics. I completed my PhD at Shiv Nadar University in 2024, and I currently teach microeconomics and game theory at NYU Abu Dhabi.
My research asks how the way information is produced and shared — through the media, elections, and markets — changes the choices that people and institutions make. I am drawn to questions where a clean model can sharpen an argument that is otherwise easy to wave away.
